What Customers Say About Killzone: Liberation:

you aim and shoot with the analog, you get grenades, a lot of weapons, after missions you are rewarded based on your performance and uncovering of veteran money, basically you use this to buy more cool weapons. the PSP is limited by having only one analog stick, and PSP users know when playing FPS games it becomes so frustrating. This game instead is a third person shooter, basically overhead, and the creators made this game as fun as it could be on the PSP. there are plenty of weapons, features, missions and they included an update to bring another act with several missions as a free bonus, plus they included an update for free online play. a great package and a great PSP game with an entertaining story line, fun game play and rich graphics.

So I'd say that this game is pretty good overall, but not 5 stars. The missions can take a while, but that's okay.

I was wrong, but that doesn't mean that it was bad. I thought that this game was going to be more of a third person such as Star Wars Battlefront.

It is pretty cool and the controls not that hard. I mean you are still shooting and throwing grenades and that kind of stuff.

Your really looking at the battlefield as if you were in a helicopter starting to land, which is not all that bad, beacuse you can see your enemies, but sometimes they can't see you. The graphics are Very Good for a PSP game, so that makes it even better.

So if you like third person shooters than you'll like this.

This game should have implemented the ability to strafe in the controls somewhat in the same vein as red star for the ps2, which If I may say was a fantastic game and deserved near a perfect score in my mind. By that I mean the systems are flawed in many aspects such as the fact that both companies want to spit out new products that are unfinished. This game should have been a top down zombie shooter with the ability to strafe and that would have been one hell of a game. I only played the first three levels of the game and then I said enough is enough and turned it off.

Now, I only have one game for the ds and three games for the psp and so far I have to say even though the psp games run off of a more powerful engine than the ds it still is lacking control which should have been the main concern for game makers. In the past 2 years I have bought around 100 games for all of the above systems combined and this review will cover tidbits on all the systems as well as killzone liberation. Why in the hell would you do this unless you just don't care enough about the people who are buying your crap. It has been proven throughout time that there is only so much you can do with the original handheld controller configuration and then back to the drawing board in hopes of something new and innovative, or so it should be.

By that I mean most games for the wii have been underdeveloped and in dior need of some serious work to ever be playable, but it seems like it's either hit or miss considering games are terrible and unplayable pieces of garbage or they are the most fun, satisfying and beautiful displays of art ever created for a game system {example:resident evil 4}. Think about it for a second, sony psp was rushed out the door in my opinion without a second analog stick and without a touch screen and then decided to make games with no clue of what to do with the controls. The same thing goes for the evil giant 360 and the ps3 for that matter, considering that they both need some work in the durability department. Neither one of the systems are up to par in that category and therefore will probably carry a 3 to 4 year life span. I am not a fan boy for any system considering I have a ds, psp, ps2, 360, original xbox, wii and gamecube which If I may add sucks just as bad as this game.

That brings me to my next system,"nintendo wii". When I bought my wii I was extremely skeptical because I was afraid that it too was not fully developed and in a sense I was right and wrong about it. The last statement also applies to the ds which is a lot of fun except it needs a bigger screen. Now for the killzone liberation review. Why even bother wasting money on these systems and their stupid rehashed games that are all the same. I am beginning to feel that the psp is to the handheld world what the ps3 and even the 360 have become in the console world. This game is annoying from top to bottom in that the controls are not the best as well as everything else in this game.

Whenever I think about that number it is appalling to know that systems costing 250 to 400 dollars and even more than that when they were first released can and most likely will tear up in a short freaking period of time. What really gets under my skin the most about ps3 and 360 is that their all about changing the feel of the games and the graphics and the sound and every frigging thing one can imagine except for one major thing and that being the controls of these games. I read some reviews stating that the camera angle is bad, but I liked the camera angle, however, it did not work with this game because there was no way to strafe and add a flawed lock on system to that and you have some really flawed and not so fun gameplay. Maybe someone will make a mod like that one day and we can all download it, but for now back to gamestop to return this overhyped piece of giraffe poo.

I have to agree with one of the reviews in here. The miserable controls & aiming; hidden land mines that are hard to get around (in case you've spent your generous amount of TWO grenades); spider mines that are impossible to run from (and almost always end up killing you); only one weapon, which is usually useless because of long and frequent reload times - all result in an incredible disappointment, and a really HARD game even on the 'Easy' difficulty level. But not because it's challenging, but because of game design flaws I mentioned above. So, welcome to clicking "Restart Checkpoint" for the 110th time. And then die because of a Helghast rocket launcher or a mine.and then repeat.

Great game it is fun and good. if you want kill zone 2 then get this game so you can get what the story is and all. its a great game for the PSP i recommend it.
